When My Fingers Alive

☆  بِسْــــــــــــــمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْـــــمِ  ☆

Assalamualaikum my sweety.
What's on your mind right now?
I am in a happy mood. Why?
Because i have just returned from my hometown
and able to meet my lovely mom and dad.
I was very relieved. They are my strength for me to get up from the fall.

In chapter 3, I have learnt strategic initiatives for implementing competitive advantages. Not only in business, even in our life, we have our own strategy for implement something successfully, right?

What is 'Supply Chain Management' ?

Supply chain management spans the movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point of origin to point of consumption. It is also defined as the "design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities

Four basic components of supply chain management include :
    • Supply chain strategy - strategy for managing all resources to meet customer demand
    • Supply chain partner - partner throughout the supply chain that deliver finished finished products, raw materials and services.
    • Supply chain operation - schedule for production activities
    • Supply chain logistics - product delivery process

What is 'Customer Relationship Management' ?

Customer relationship management involves managing all aspects of a customer’s relationship with an organization to increase customer loyalty and retention and an organization's profitability. It is originally used specifically for computer-based methods of tracking customer interactions. Many organizations, such as Charles Schwab and Kaiser Permanente, have obtained great success through the implementation of CRM systems.

What is 'Business Process Reengineering' ?

It is the analysis and redesign of workflow within and between enterprises.
The concept of BPR traces its origins to management theories
developed as early as the 19th century.

Seven Principles of Business Process Reengineering :
    • Organize around outcome, not tasks.
    • Identify all the organization's processes and prioritize them in order of redesign urgency.
    • Integrate information processing work into the real work that produces the information.
    • Treat geographically dispersed resources as though they were centralized.
    • Link parallel activities in the workflow instead of just integrating their results.
    • Put the decision point where the work is performed, and build control into the process.
    • Capture information once and the source.

What is 'Enterprise Resource Planning' ?

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is business management software that allows an organization to use a system of integrated applications to manage the business. ERP software integrates all facets of an operation, including product planning, development, manufacturing processes, sales and marketing.
